We are proud to be you and your baby’s primary care provider through 6 weeks postpartum and 6 weeks of age. Your Midwife treats you and your baby as interdependent, promotes breastfeeding and facilitates “the golden hour” – an uninterrupted first-hour after birth. In that hour, we provide a calm and soothing environment for both you and baby.
Alba Birth Center promotes delayed cord clamping to assist with transition of baby as he or she begins to breathe on their own, allowing the completion of blood volume to your newborn.
